Parent–Toddler Programme (Up to 18 Months)
Nurturing the First Steps of Learning
The Parent–Toddler Programme at Le'Cole Maternelle School is thoughtfully designed to provide infants and toddlers with a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where they can begin exploring the world around them. During the first eighteen months of life, children experience rapid growth and development, making early experiences essential for building strong foundations for future learning.
Our programme focuses on creating meaningful opportunities for exploration, interaction, and discovery while ensuring that every child feels secure, valued, and cared for. Through carefully planned activities, children are encouraged to engage with their surroundings, develop sensory awareness, strengthen motor skills, and build early communication abilities.
With a low child-to-facilitator ratio and a nurturing atmosphere, we ensure personalized attention and responsive care for every child, supporting their unique developmental journey.

Our Approach to Early Childhood Development
At Le'Cole Maternelle School, we believe that children learn best through exploration, play, and positive relationships. Our Parent–Toddler Programme provides a balanced combination of guided activities and free exploration that encourages children to learn naturally at their own pace.
The programme is carefully structured to support all areas of development:
Cognitive Development
Children are introduced to age-appropriate sensory materials, interactive toys, and exploratory activities that stimulate curiosity, attention, memory, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Development
Indoor and outdoor activities help children strengthen both fine and gross motor skills. Through movement, crawling, walking, grasping, and play, children develop coordination, balance, and body awareness.
Social & Emotional Development
Warm interactions with facilitators and peers help children build trust, confidence, emotional security, and early social skills. Children learn to express emotions, respond to others, and feel comfortable in a group setting.
Language & Communication Development
Songs, rhymes, storytelling, conversations, and interactive play provide rich language experiences that support listening skills, vocabulary development, and early communication.
Sensory Exploration
Children engage in multi-sensory experiences involving textures, sounds, colors, movement, and natural materials, helping them understand and make sense of the world around them.
Learning Experiences
Our programme offers a wide range of engaging experiences designed specifically for infants and toddlers:
Sensory Play
Activities involving water, sand, textures, colors, sounds, and natural materials encourage exploration and sensory development.
Music & Movement
Children participate in music sessions, action songs, rhythm activities, and movement games that support creativity, coordination, and self-expression.
Creative Exploration
Simple art experiences allow children to explore colors, patterns, shapes, and textures while encouraging imagination and creativity.
Indoor Discovery Activities
Safe indoor environments provide opportunities for exploration, independent play, problem-solving, and social interaction.
Outdoor Learning Experiences
Children enjoy supervised outdoor activities that promote physical development, curiosity, and a connection with nature.
Interactive Storytelling
Stories, puppets, visual aids, and rhymes help develop listening skills, language comprehension, and imagination.
