Welcome to the Pre-Toddler Programme

At Le'Cole Maternelle School, our Pre-Toddler Programme is thoughtfully designed to provide young children with a secure, stimulating, and nurturing environment where they can confidently begin exploring the world around them. This stage marks an important transition in a child’s early years as they gradually develop independence, communication skills, social awareness, and self-confidence.

Understanding that every child grows and learns at their own unique pace, our programme combines structured learning experiences with opportunities for free exploration and discovery. Through carefully planned activities and engaging interactions, children are encouraged to develop essential life skills while enjoying a joyful and enriching early learning journey.

Our experienced facilitators provide individualized attention and create meaningful experiences that support cognitive, emotional, physical, social, and language development, helping each child build a strong foundation for future learning.

Our Learning Approach

We believe that young children learn best through active participation, hands-on experiences, and meaningful interactions. The Pre-Toddler Programme follows a child-centered approach that encourages:

  • Exploration and curiosity
  • Independent thinking
  • Social interaction and collaboration
  • Language development
  • Creative expression
  • Physical movement and coordination
  • Emotional well-being and confidence

Every day is carefully planned to provide opportunities for children to learn through play while developing important developmental milestones in a natural and enjoyable manner.

Programme Highlights

Sensory Exploration & Discovery

Children engage in a variety of sensory-rich experiences that stimulate their senses and support brain development. Activities involving textures, sounds, colors, water play, sand play, and sensory materials encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Language & Communication Development

Through songs, stories, rhymes, conversations, and interactive activities, children are encouraged to develop vocabulary, listening skills, verbal expression, and early communication abilities.

Creative Play & Imagination

Dedicated play zones inspire children to explore, pretend, create, and express themselves freely. Art activities, role play, music, and imaginative experiences nurture creativity and self-expression.

Social & Emotional Growth

Children learn valuable social skills such as sharing, cooperation, empathy, patience, and friendship through guided group activities and positive interactions with peers and facilitators.

Fine & Gross Motor Development

Age-appropriate activities help strengthen hand-eye coordination, balance, movement, and physical control. Children participate in activities that support both fine motor skills and larger body movements.

Music, Rhythm & Movement

Interactive music and movement sessions promote coordination, body awareness, confidence, and joyful self-expression while enhancing listening and concentration skills.

Outdoor Exploration

Supervised outdoor experiences provide opportunities for active play, nature exploration, physical exercise, and environmental awareness in a safe setting.

Independent Learning Opportunities

Children are gently encouraged to make simple choices, explore independently, and build self-help skills that foster confidence and autonomy.

Safe, Hygienic & Child-Friendly Environment

Our learning spaces are thoughtfully designed to ensure comfort, safety, cleanliness, and security, allowing children to explore with confidence while feeling cared for and protected.
